There’s a voice in your head.
Sometimes loud. Sometimes low.
But not always yours.
Before you claim every doubt, fear, and hesitation as your truth, pause.
Because the mind doesn’t only echo your voice.
It also echoes what it absorbs:
Parents.
Teachers.
Ex-lovers.
Culture.
Social scrolls.
Old fears, wrapped in fresh language.
🧠 The Truth About Inner Noise
Much of what feels like your thoughts is often borrowed noise—passed down, projected onto you, or picked up unconsciously.
It can sound like:
- “I’ll never be good enough.”
- “Who do I think I am to try this?”
- “I should be further along.”
- “If I fail, I’ll be seen as a joke.”
But ask yourself:
Who taught me that?
Whose voice is that, really?
That’s the start of discernment.
And that’s how freedom begins.
🧭 Learn to Discern
Discernment is the ability to separate your true self from the noise.
To know what’s intuition and what’s insecurity.
To know what’s fear—and what’s wisdom.
To know when you’re being guided—and when you’re being gaslighted by your conditioning.
Your job isn’t to silence the noise immediately.
It’s to recognize it.
Name it.
Then, choose what stays.
🔁 Ortacle Reflection Prompt
What “inner voices” are you still listening to that may not be yours?
Try journaling the loudest negative thought you have, and ask:
Whose voice is this? Do I choose to keep it?
Closing Line:
You don’t have to believe every thought.
The inner noise isn’t always yours.
Learn to discern and reclaim your mind.
